The van provides door-to-door transportation to the Center for educational and social activities. It operates Monday-Thursday. Suggested donation: $1 per ride. Cal 617 730 2750 by 3:00 on the business day before you need a ride.


Elder Bus Schedule

Elderbus makes an hourly circuit between the Center, senior housing, and shopping areas. Suggested donation: 50 cents per ride. Schedules in English, Russian and Chinese at 617 730 2777

"The Ride"

MBTA provides special door-to-door service for those senior citizens and handicapped passengers unable to ride conventional transit services. Reservations for "The Ride" can be made by calling the MBTA. Reservations must be made 1 day in advance and the cost is typically $1.25 per ride.

The TRIPPS program offers a Transportation Resources and Information Guide to local travel options in Greater Boston (Massachusetts, USA), as well as individual, personalized support to residents of Brookline and Newton aged 60 or older.


The PARC Program was developed by the Brookline Council on Aging (COA) in conjunction with the Brookline Transportation Department to address the parking needs of caregivers who serve the residents of Brookline.
