Worrying about your memory? Brookline Community Aging Network presents “Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory" by Andrew E. Budson, MD . As you age, you may find yourself worrying about your memory. Where did I put those car keys? What time was my appointment? What was her name again?
With more than 41 million Americans over the age of 65 in the United States, the question becomes how much (or, perhaps, what type) of memory loss is to be expected as one gets older and what should trigger a visit to the doctor? Seven Steps to Managing Your Memory addresses these key concerns.

Wayang Kulit is a form of traditional shadow-puppetry from Bali, Indonesia that brings together elements from the island’s rich cultural traditions: Hindu epics, complex music, leather carving, ritual, movement, and slap-stick comedy. Since 2012, The Brothers Campur—puppeteers Putu Rekayasa and Panji Wilimantara, theatre artist Sam Jay Gold, and ethnomusicologist Ian Coss—have presented this dynamic art form to audiences in both Indonesia and the United States. They are thrilled to share their newest show under the stars in Brookline for one night only. Witness heroes rescue loved ones, clowns fight demons, and Gods crack jokes about Twitter and Instagram — all from the shadows.
This public performance is supported by the Brookline Arts Council, The Brookline Parks Department, The Boston University Arts Initiatitve, the Boston University Department of Musicology and Ethnomusicology, and the Puppet Showplace Theatre.
